Editor's Notes
Asia moves to centre stage as US flexes John Wayne muscles
Take time for print-outs on China, North Korea, to see ahead
The US, battered and bleeding, has officially pulled out of Iraq leaving behind a covering force of thousands of mercenaries they call contractors. Meanwhile, the US is suing for peace with the Taliban in Afghanistan after losing the war there.
(As an example of the terrible conditions festering in Kabul under American guns, please read Children struggle and die in dangerous Kabul.)
The Taliban aren't co-operating. This was the outfit that George W. Bush attacked to show them right from wrong. The Taliban know a wounded beast when they see it. Why rush? The US will pack their tents sooner or later. They'll have to go because, like a punch drunk boxer whirling around in the ring, they've decided that Asia/Pacific is a good place to start a new Cold War, after all there are no shots being fired there yet.
Be sure to print out and read at your leisure Opening shot of new Cold War that endangers humanity It's all about what's behind Barack Obama's remarkable announcement to the Australian parliament on 17 November 2011 that the US is turning its attention to Asia and the Pacific.
This article clearly reveals the facts behind the propaganda that serves as a smokescreen to hide motivation and practice on the Korean peninsula.
(By the way, John Wayne was a Hollywood actor who won America's wars on screen in Europe and Asia Pacific but who, unlike other Hollywood stars, in real life was a coward who twice pulled Republican strings so he could avoid the draft during World War II.)
In the spirit of learning and knowledge, seeking the truth, I'll sign off urging you, as usual, to take it easy, but take it.
Looking forward.
