Editor’s Notes

Today’s Reader’s Survey will put

final polish on renewed True North

Next week will see the resumption of our favourite on-line source of news and analyses, well-spiced with tasteful and insightful humour. The Reader’s Survey we present today is a vital tool for us. Your opinions will help shape the content of True North. So I urge you to feed them back to us at your earliest convenience.

The survey provides for anonymity. You may answer as you please and we won’t know who you are. The only exception will be if you tell us to cease and desist in sending True North to your desktop. To stop delivery we’ll need your email address. With no hard feelings, you will be struck from our hallowed list forever, or at least until you change your mind and tell us you want back in.

As we move along through the weeks and months and yes, even years, ahead, you will find a growing sophistication as we develop attention to science, philosophy, and everything from popular to classic literature. (By my definition literature includes creative expression in at least print, film, and sound.)

Needless to say, I’ll have more to say on the subject with our reopening issue next week. Please click away at the Reader’s Survey now before your attention is distracted. Thanks and looking forward.
