Canadian book best-sellers Ray and Kearney
go international with Boomer Life contract

OTTAWA Ottawa Independent Writers member Randy Ray, who has co-authored eight books about Canada with sales of more than 50,000, has gone international.

Mr. Ray recently hit the U.S. stage as a contributor to the inaugural issue of Virginia-based Boomer Life Magazine, published by Ross Publishing.

Mr. Ray and his co-author Mark Kearney of London, Ont., produced a boomer trivia quiz in the June-July issue of Boomer Life. Their questions touch on everything from movies and celebrity birthdays, to music, baby names and lunar missions.

So, where was the Ford Mustang unveiled to the public in 1964? Was it on the White House Lawn? On Hollywood Boulevard? At the New York World's Fair? Or at Tiger Stadium in Detroit?

Mr. Ray and Mr. Kearney have signed on to contribute a trivia feature to each issue of the magazine.

Since their first title was published in the mid-1980s, Mr. Ray and Mr. Kearney have sold more than 50,000 books and syndicated their trivia features and quizzes to newspapers across North America. They're known across Canada as “ Canada's Trivia Guys.''
