Editor’s Notes

When all is sunshine and roses

While the innocent happily prepare for, and engage in, summer activities and holidays, we, who always, like good drivers and pilots, have our eye on the horizon know that the worst is yet to come — we know a tragic secret so enormous in significance and so available to the public that most don’t even take notice. Briefly, the Summer Solstice has come and gone.

With the September Song in the immediate background, I’m in mourning until Wednesday. Coping with the truth that Summer Solstice is Dead! while recharging my batteries so that I’ll be able to shout with joy, Long Live the Summer Solstice to Come!

Looking forward
